It’s funny how the more you look at some paintings, the more fond you become of them.
I have said for a while I wanted to loosen up a bit to add more life to my paintings. This is one I did of my neighbor working in her yard, after participating in several of the DSFDF challenges. I have to thank Karin for her blog, because I would say this is pretty loose.

What fun this one was to paint!!

Amanda, this is such a delightful painting. I love those brushstrokes, they are an art in themselves and fit your colour choice well. r.

Beautiful gentle painting. About loosening up I recently read something that Bongart said 'one needs thorough knowledge of painting to be able to paint freely and loosely. That is the trouble with art.... then comes time to kick bucket... Titian was ninety-three when he loosen up- he died at ninety four' :)
